Art
The school is alive with a huge variety of art produced by the children both in art lessons and incorporated with other subjects.
In art we hope to inspire pupils to explore their creativity, encouraging the pupils to develop lively and enquiring minds with the ability to question, reason and acquire knowledge. We encourage pupils to learn some basic techniques in order for them to be able to realise their own ideas. Pupils work with a wide range of media in both two-dimensional and three-dimensional activities. Thus pupils learn to express their observations, ideas and insights with confidence. The art department continues to grow with pupils making regular visits to galleries for exhibitions and lectures and we run three art clubs after school.
