Lower Prep (8-10 years)
The Lower Prep has a happy and friendly atmosphere. The children are encouraged to be aware of the feelings and needs of others and are especially warm and welcoming to new pupils. The Year 6 girls are renowned for providing fabulous tours of the school. The children display a lively interest in all the activities of the school and achieve a high standard both in work and games. All classes are taught by a form teacher with specialists for Music, French, PE and I.T. At age ten girls are prepared for entry to London Senior Schools with exceptional results. Great care is taken to help each family select the most suitable school for their daughter. The boys move up to the Upper Prep after Year 5.
