A-Level Results 2016
Two academic years after opening, North Bridge House Senior School and Sixth Form justified its Ofsted ‘Outstanding’ rating with an excellent first set of A-Level.
With a 100% pass rate, our results saw many students exceed their original ALIS predictions and evidenced Ofsted’s observation that ‘students make well above expected levels of progress over time.’
Two of our particularly high-achieving students were Melina Pelling and Will Coffey. Melina was delighted with straight A grades in Maths, Chemistry and Biology and looking forward to a future in Medicine. Will gained straight As in Maths, Economics and Further Maths, with which he secured his place reading Economics at the University of Bristol.
67% of Maths and Further Maths candidates achieved an A Grade, as did 67% of Art candidates, highlighting the impressive measure of both academic and creative talent across the small cohort. Read more.
