A-Level Results 2017

North Bridge House Canonbury’s 2017 A-Level results saw another year of exam success with 57% A*- B grades and an impressive ALIS Value-Added score of 0.3 for the second year running, meaning many students gained a whole grade above predictions.

NBH Canonbury Sixth Form students particularly excelled in English Literature this year with 100% of pupils gaining A*-B grades. Sixth Form students also continued the school’s strong performance in Art with 100% celebrating A* and A grades.

Two of our high achievers, Yiwang Lim and Sama Aunallah celebrated a host of A* and A grades. Yiwang gained a place at the University of Bath studying Economics with an A* in Economics and A grades in Maths and Geography. Sama achieved four A grades in English, Economics, History and the Extended Project Qualification (EPQ), and successfully secured a place at the University of Manchester reading Politics, Philosophy and Economics. Read more.

GCSE Results 2016

From cohorts of broad-ranging abilities and interests, North Bridge House Senior School pupils continue to achieve impressive GCSE grades year after year.

With 95% of students gaining at least five A*-C grades, our 2016 pass rate was the highest since expanding to our new site in Rosslyn Hill, Hampstead. 90% of students achieved five or more A*-C grades in subjects including Maths and English.

42% of all our grades were either A* or A – over double that of the 20.5% national average – with notable top mark success in Maths and Science, complemented by outstanding grades in the creative visual arts. Read more.

 

Prep School Results: 11+ and Common Entrance

Traditionally at our Prep School, girls are prepared for the 11+ and boys for Common Entrance at 13+, with all children achieving outstanding results and entry to some of the best Senior Schools in the country – often with scholarships.

Now that we have two established Senior School sites however, a number of pupils choose to continue their education at North Bridge House, and both girls and boys are welcomed into our popular Hampstead and Canonbury campuses upon reference from the Head Teacher.
