Another year of outstanding 11+ results for girls at NBH Prep
This term we continued to celebrate North Bridge House Prep School’s first class exam results with the girls’ outstanding performance in the 11+. Year on year, the Prep School successfully places girls and boys at some of the best schools in London and the UK – often with prestigious scholarship awards – which is testament to both staff and pupils’ hard work.
This year, the girls’ 11+ results have seen a total of six scholarship offers for Academic, Art and Drama accolades, highlighting the school’s excellent provision for these subjects together with its ‘very broad-ranging extra-curricular programme’ and ‘full range of educational experiences.’ (School Inspection Service, December 2015)
The girls have been spoilt for choice with many offers from schools at the top of the league table, including Channing, City of London School for Girls, Francis Holland, Goldolphin and Latymer, Haberdashers’ Aske’s School for Girls, North London Collegiate, South Hampstead and St Paul’s Girls’ School.
First choice places secured
Mira Bhattacharjee is particularly excited to be joining St Paul’s – her first choice school.

The 11+ process was very challenging, but we were really well prepared for both the exams and the interviews.
Comment from the Head
Head teacher, Mr Bibby is thrilled with the girls’ success:
“Once again the girls have produced truly wonderful results! They have worked so hard over the last few months and we have been delighted with their calm and focused approach throughout the whole process.”
“Some of the girls are still making their final choices but in the meantime, huge congratulations to them all. Parents can now relax and allow their girls to enjoy the last term at NBH!”
We are now looking forward to the boys’ pre-test results which, like the girls’ 11+ results, are historically very strong. The high levels of success in both pre-test and 13+ entrance exams see boys gain places and scholarships at prestigious destinations every year, which include City of London School for Boys, Harrow, Merchant Taylors’, St Paul’s School, UCS, Mill Hill and Westminster, to name but a few.
