Following the very successful opening of our first age 2 Nursery class this year, North Bridge House Nursery School, Hampstead is delighted to confirm the continuation of this provision – for children as soon as they turn 2-years-old – in September 2023.

The age 2 class, also known as our Pre-Nursery class, provides children with their first experience in a school setting, and is focused on the care and wellbeing of each individual child at this young age. We ensure a smooth, sensitive and happy transition so that our safe and nurturing environment soon becomes a home from home. Our highly qualified teachers and experienced staff are very quick to build trusting relationships with both children and parents, so that you have peace of mind when dropping off your child each day and reclaiming some all-important time for yourself – we are here to support all parents, whether you are stay at home, go to work, or work from home.

All children are unique and come with differing dispositions and experiences, so our key aim is to give every child the opportunity to learn, develop and thrive in everything they do. From a creative and play-based curriculum that is centred around both indoor and outdoor activities, to specialist teaching in music, gym, drama and storytelling, we develop children’s interests, build their social circles and grow their confidence in a truly enriching space.

Morning sessions run from 8.30 – 11.45am, with Breakfast Club available from 7.45am once children have settled in.

Children naturally progress to one of our older Nursery classes in the September following their 2nd birthday, before joining Pre-Reception at 3+. Part-time and full-time provision is available for these year groups, as well as wraparound care and after school clubs.

To enquire about a place in the Pre-Nursery class for September 2023 or thereafter, please email admissionsenquiries@northbridgehouse.com or call 020 7428 1520.

“Our child felt comfortable and secure on her first day at NBH. We immediately sensed the efforts made by the class teachers to respect and foster each child’s individuality. We couldn’t be happier!”  Pre-Nursery Parent
