NBH U14s put on sterling performance in the ESFA Cup
NBH U14s storm through to the next round of the ESFA Small Schools’ Football Cup
This week, our under 14s from North Bridge House Senior Hampstead took on Jubilee High School from Surrey in the second round of the English Schools’ Football Association (ESFA) Small Schools’ Cup. Jubilee High School were an unknown quantity as the two sides had never met until now.
NBH kicked off and made an impressive start with Max T, man of the match, taking control of the game along with Max M. NBH were playing really well and it wasn’t long before the first goal came from Patrick W.
Our under 14s continued to dominate possession thanks to Patrick W’s top form and Gabriel M and Isaac B constantly running in behind the opposition.
The goals just kept flowing, totalling an impressive 7-0 to NBH by half time. NBH continued to monopolise the game in the second half but with both teams making substitutions, play levelled out a little.
Not a side to just relax and try to hold the lead though, North Bridge House found their second wind and Charlie P began causing the opposition all sorts of problems down the left side, with Imran G supporting from the back.
The final score was NBH 13 – 0 Jubilee High School. Well done to all of our star North Bridge House players.
Wilson (5’, 10’, 15’, 30’, 52’)
