North Bridge House Pre-Prep Delighted with Inspection Outcome
School Inspection Service, 2017
Many parents commented on the positive impact the school had on their children, describing children who may have been shy or lacking in confidence before joining the school and who are now thriving and participating in all that the school provides.
North Bridge House Pre-Prep is celebrating the result of its latest school inspection with a report which highlights that the school is Good with Outstanding Features.
The inspection report for North Bridge House Pre-Prep found that pupils’ personal development is outstanding, their behaviour is excellent and their achievement in reading is exceptionally high.
Head Teacher, Mrs McLelland, “in a very short period of time, has brought about significant improvement” and is delighted with the progress the school has made under her leadership, since 2014.
The inspectors noted that teachers have really benefited from effective professional development and the feedback they provide for pupils in all subjects is exemplary.
Mrs McLelland said:
“The school has made significant progress over the past 20 months and continues to go from strength to strength. I am so pleased that the inspection report reflects this and would like to thank all the staff at the Pre-Prep School for their hard work and commitment. I also extend my thanks to our parent body for their on-going support of the school and partnership with us.”
The report continues to elaborate on the fact that pupils enjoy learning, their listening skills are good and that they are kind to each other – with staff providing them with an excellent model for their own behaviour.
NBH Pre-Prep’s provision for pupils’ spiritual, moral, social and cultural (SMSC) education is praised as outstanding after the inspectors saw first-hand how pupils receive a well-rounded education and develop a strong awareness of culture through opportunities to develop their own sporting, musical, artistic or creative talents.
