A Secure and Welcoming Community
At North Bridge House Nursery & Pre-Prep West Hampstead, we intend our school to be a real hub for the local community, where all families are made to feel welcome. Our priority is of course to provide a secure and nurturing environment for our pupils, while parents and children alike should feel safe and comfortable in their school and want to be there – whether it’s to drop in for a catch-up with your child’s class teacher over a coffee, or to run through the gates every morning to learn something new. We have an open-door policy with our families and believe that communication is key to ensuring your children achieve their full potential; no matter is ever too small to discuss.
From themed assemblies for the children to parent and child mornings, our pastoral structure is very much designed to ensure children develop not only academically, but socially and emotionally also. From this very early age, we promote an atmosphere of trust between pupils and staff, so that our children feel safe and confident in every aspect of school life and thus make strides in their academic and personal development. School pets; regular outdoor experiences; team building and self-confidence workshops, weekly parent newsletters all enhance our rigorous pastoral programme to ensure we are a happy and successful close-knit community.
