North Bridge House Nutrition

At North Bridge House, we are committed to serving our pupils nutritionally balanced meals with meat and vegetarian options, a salad bar, and other healthy alternatives every lunchtime. We also encourage pupils to indulge in the fresh fruit supplied every day and enjoy mealtimes with both staff and classmates. We work hard to instil a positive attitude towards food in our pupils, encouraging them to try new things and educating them on the importance of a balanced diet.

As well as the rotation of main meals, the salad bar presents a varying selection of dishes to appeal to students’ healthy nature and provide further nourishment alongside their hot lunch. This is complemented by a range of fresh, homemade soups and bread, on offer daily.

Catering

North Bridge House works with Thomas Franks to supply fresh, wholesome and delicious lunches to our pupils, whatever their dietary requirements.

Launched in 2005, Thomas Franks sources the best seasonal produce, both local and regional, from family owned catering specialists. Wherever possible, Thomas Franks always use fair trade and GM free products, together with free range and organic produce.

Pupils’ needs are at the centre of all Thomas Franks’ thinking, from menu design to sourcing their suppliers.

Lunch Menus

A variety of menus are rotated throughout the term, so pupils can enjoy a different meal each day of the week, whilst looking forward to a second taste of their favourite in coming weeks.
