A secure and welcoming community

At North Bridge House Nursery & Pre-Prep West Hampstead, our priority is to provide a secure and nurturing environment for our pupils and their families. Parents and children alike should feel safe and comfortable in their school.

We have a close-knit community where all of our teachers care about every pupil they teach. We don’t just provide people for our pupils to talk to, we provide people they want to talk to. We address issues sensitively and swiftly. Our door, so to speak, is always open.

Pastoral care takes many forms at North Bridge House

Open-door policy

We have an open-door policy with our families and believe that communication is key to ensuring your children achieve their full potential; no matter is ever too small to discuss.

Social and emotional development

From themed assemblies for the children to parent and child mornings, our pastoral structure is designed to ensure children develop not only academically, but socially and emotionally also.

Atmosphere of trust

From a very early age, we promote an atmosphere of trust between pupils and staff, so that our children feel safe and confident in every aspect of school life and thus make strides in their academic and personal development.

Happy and successful close-knit community

School pets, regular outdoor experiences, team building and self-confidence workshops and weekly parent newsletters all enhance our rigorous pastoral programme.
