Pupil Account: Wear It Pink 2015
On Friday 23rd October 2015, North Bridge House Prep School (Year 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8) went to the school’s chapel for Wear It Pink Day. There were loads of stalls full of food, drink and other things to buy such as smoothies, trading cards and pink popcorn. The school went to the chapel in their year groups to buy stuff from the stalls. The school council representatives were manning the stalls along with some other children who the teachers chose. Each year group had ten minutes to do their shopping before the bell rang.
All the children came in wearing pink clothes and accessories such as wigs, sunglasses, t-shirts and shoes. The school held a raffle with loads of prizes which were brought in by the children. Everyone had a really good time. An incredible amount of money was raised – around £2600! – and given to Breast Cancer Research.
