Round up of sporting success at Senior Hampstead this term
This term has been full of athletics at NBH Senior Hampstead.
Earlier in May at the North London Schools ISA Athletics Competition, pupils competed in high jump, long jump, javelin and track running. An impressive 8 gold medals were awarded, as well as 6 silver and 6 bronze medals. All 8 gold medallists have qualified for the ISA National Athletics Competition which will be held on Tuesday 19 June at the Alexander Stadium, Birmingham. Congratulations to all students who will be competing in June.
There was more success for NBH Senior Hampstead at the Camden Schools Athletics Competition on Wednesday 16 May. A number of boys and girls competed in and won medals for long jump, javelin and the 800m.
One Year 7 student and two in Year 8 have also qualified to represent Camden in the upcoming London Schools Athletics Association track and field events, competing for their borough as well as their school.
On top of all that sporting success, one NBH Senior Hampstead student, sports enthusiast and budding designer, Darcy won Gold and Silver medals in the London Youth Games at the weekend, having already designed the event T-shirt for the London Borough of Haringey.
