WELCOME TO THE NORTH BRIDGE HOUSE FAMILY OF SCHOOLS IN NORTH LONDON
At North Bridge House, we dedicate ourselves to deeply understanding each pupil as a unique individual. We believe success encompasses more than excellent academic results—it’s about each student discovering the path that aligns with their distinct talents and personality. Guided by our excellent teachers and the wealth of opportunities both within and outside the classroom, a North Bridge education helps every student achieve their full academic and personal potential, leading them on their journey to finding their True North.
YOUR CHILD'S JOURNEY
North Bridge House is a family of four independent day schools for children aged 2 to 18 years. Families can benefit from the option of a stress-free all-through education or choose individually tailored preparation for the next stage of their child’s school career. We have one Nursery & Pre-Prep campus in Hampstead for children aged 2 to 7, a Prep School in Regent’s Park for 4 to 13-year-olds and two Senior School campuses. Senior Canonbury (just around the corner from Highbury & Islington tube station) and Senior Hampstead are both for students aged 11 to 18.

Manga Club stepped out of their usual setting today and into the kitchen for a hands-on, cross-curricular experience that blended creativity with culinary skills! Our Year 7, 8, and 9 Senior Hampstead students swapped their books for aprons as they explored the art of Japanese cooking, making traditional soba noodle soup. But before stepping into the kitchen, they took part in the full process, starting with a visit to Natural Natural Japanese grocery store, where they carefully selected authentic ingredients. The morning continued with a stop at Lanka Patisserie, where students attended a workshop with their chef, learning first-hand about Japanese flavour and techniques.
This unique experience not only deepened their love for Japan but also developed key life skills such as cooking and teamwork. By bridging Manga Club with Food Technology, students had the chance to engage in a truly cross-curricular opportunity, linking their love of manga and anime with practical, hands-on learning. Cooking a dish they’ve often seen in the pages of their favourite books and on-screen series made Japanese culture feel even more tangible, reinforcing the importance of intercultural understanding. Our Manga Club students discovered that their passion for Japan extends far beyond the pages they read - one delicious bowl at a time!

On Tuesday, our Regent’s Park Digital Ambassadors, Blaine & Jake, took part in the world’s first-ever Children’s AI Summit at @officialqmul, hosted by the Children & AI team. Ensuring young voices are part of the conversation on one of the most powerful technologies shaping our future.
AI is already transforming education, healthcare, the environment, and mental health, and it’s here to stay. That’s why, as the generation who will grow up alongside AI, it’s vital for our pupils to stay informed, understand its impact, learn how to use it responsibly, and have a say in shaping its future. Using postcards, Blaine & Jake voiced their concerns, and presented their opinions on how AI should be used. These insights, along with those of other pupils, will now be presented to global leaders, policymakers, and AI developers at the AI Action Summit in Paris next week, helping to shape how AI is used for generations to come.
Well done, Blaine & Jake, for representing our school on such an important global situation!

Year 7 at NBH Senior Hampstead is where curiosity meets creativity, and our carousel lessons are at the heart of it all!
Our students enjoy a fantastic mix of subjects, whether it’s bringing stories to life in drama, creating stunning art, mastering digital skills, or whipping up something delicious in food and nutrition - and that’s just the start! With a rich and varied curriculum, our students also explore the wonders of geography, tackle creative problem-solving in maths, and explore the power of language and literature. Add in Music, History, PE, IT, Science and even PSHE, and there’s something for everyone to discover and enjoy.
We simply believe in making education fun, hands-on, and memorable. To our incoming Year 6 students, get ready for a year full of creativity, collaboration, and growth where you’ll… Find Your True North 💫

Here is some great news to start the week! As we congratulate Felix, a 2022 NBH Canonbury alumnus, who has been named Parliamentary Aide Newcomer of the Year!
Parliamentary Aides are the behind-the-scenes powerhouses in government, supporting MPs with research, policy work, and the day-to-day running of Parliament. To be recognised at this level so early in his career is an outstanding achievement, and we couldn’t be prouder.
Well done, Felix - your NBH family are cheering you on! 👏

Building on yesterday’s celebrations, our Senior Hampstead students continued the Lunar New Year festivities in their whole school assembly. Led by some of our Year 7 and Year 8 pupils, they shared their cultural traditions, followed by insights from Mr Amar’s Mandarin Enrichment sessions. The assembly wrapped up with a lively House competition quiz - congratulations to Joey, Tom, Tristan, and Miss Watson for securing 50 Metis for Fortis!
It’s been fantastic to see the celebrations across our schools, with students of all ages enjoying the festivities, getting involved, and learning more about different cultures. 🏮🐍

Our Year 6 Regent’s Park Netball A team took on a new challenge on Wednesday, as they competed in the ISA North London Netball Tournament for the very first time!
With determination and teamwork, they battled through six group stage matches, securing three impressive wins. They fought hard in the knockout stages against a strong Gatehouse School team, and while the journey ended there, their resilience and sportsmanship shone through.
A huge well done to all the players for their effort and teamwork, and a special shoutout to Camilla, who was named MVP for stepping up in Karolia’s absence! 🏆👏

Our Nursery and Pre-Prep pupils welcomed Lunar New Year with a day filled with creativity, culture, and hands-on learning. They painted cherry blossom lanterns, exploring seasonal symbolism whilst engaging their senses through textures and colours, and developing their artistic skills. Chinese glitter writing was also a highlight, offering a tactile way to refine pencil grip and fine motor coordination in a fun and interactive way. Of course, no celebration would be complete without food, our pupils enjoyed a delicious Chinese-themed lunch, eagerly tucking into noodles and learning about the significance of this important festival.
Experiencing traditions like these brings learning to life, fostering curiosity, creativity, and a deeper appreciation for different cultures. Wishing everyone a year of good fortune and happiness! 🏮✨
