WELCOME TO THE NORTH BRIDGE HOUSE FAMILY OF SCHOOLS IN NORTH LONDON
At North Bridge House, we dedicate ourselves to deeply understanding each pupil as a unique individual. We believe success encompasses more than excellent academic results—it’s about each student discovering the path that aligns with their distinct talents and personality. Guided by our excellent teachers and the wealth of opportunities both within and outside the classroom, a North Bridge education helps every student achieve their full academic and personal potential, leading them on their journey to finding their True North.
OUR UNIQUE SCHOOLS
Whether you are looking for one of our vibrant campuses transitioning to Alleyn’s Regent’s Park (September 2025) or Alleyn’s Hampstead (September 2026), or are seeking our Canonbury Senior and Sixth Form (students aged 11 to 18) in leafy Islington, we offer a variety of choices. Families can benefit from the option of a stress-free all-through education or choose individually tailored preparation for the next stage of their child’s school career.
Our Regent’s Park Prep School for 4 to 13-year-olds is becoming Alleyn’s Regent’s Park this Autumn. Our Nursery, Pre-Prep and Senior School in Hampstead are transitioning to become an all-through option, complete with a Junior School in September 2026.

Bonjour from NBH! Yesterday our Nursery and Pre-Prep pupils celebrated French Day, where we had a lovely journey into French culture filled with food, fun, and learning.
Our Pupils explored French culture across the curriculum and enjoyed a delicious French lunch prepared by our brilliant kitchen team.
They also got hands-on with creative activities, built iconic landmarks, tackled themed challenges, and tried their hand at French cooking - A brilliant way to round off a celebration full of imagination and discovery.
Merci to all our little Parisians for dressing the part and embracing the spirit of the day! 🇫🇷

Year 11 stepped into history during their recent trip to Berlin over the half term break. A city central to some of the most significant events of the 20th century. Under clear skies, our students practised their German with Berliners, explored the seat of German democracy at the Bundestag, and took part in a reflective visit to the Sachsenhausen Memorial.
The trip offered vital context for their upcoming History GCSEs, covering topics such as the Weimar Republic, Nazi Germany, and Cold War tensions - all explored in the very places where history unfolded.
A powerful and enriching experience that blended language, culture, and historical understanding.

Last week, our Reception pupils stepped into the wild during a workshop with @exotic_explorers ! 🕷🐌🪲
They came face-to-face with some fascinating creatures, including a tarantula, a giant African snail, a black beauty stick insect, and even a Madagascar hissing cockroach. There were a few nervous faces (understandably!), but many of our pupils were brave enough to hold them, and naturally curious, asked brilliant questions throughout.
Hands-on experiences like this help bring learning to life in the most exciting way!

Yesterday, we held a fantastic bake sale to raise funds for the Chifundo Foundation in Zomba, Malawi, supporting the education of children the same age as our pupils.
The event was completely led by Theo R and Jack S, who took the initiative to organise everything from start to finish. They picked the date, created posters, liaised with staff, and baked an impressive spread of treats. With help from fellow pupils and families, the sale was a huge success. A the carrot cake was a huge success along with the crispy rice!
Their original target was £100, but they smashed it, raising a brilliant £197.60. A proud moment for two pupils making a real difference.

What a weekend of running! On Saturday, our students took in the TCS Mini London Marathon, racing 2.6km through St James’s Park and finishing in style outside Buckingham Palace!
A huge shoutout to Alexander, who finished 2nd overall in the U13 Borough competition, 1st in Camden, and 2nd U13 in all of London - an incredible achievement!
And the inspiration didn’t stop there, on Sunday, our very own Ms Donnelly completed the full @londonmarathon (42km!) in an impressive time of 3:09, battling the heat and pushing through a tough run. Her personal best still stands at 3:02 - what a role model for our students! Well done to everyone who took part. 🙌🔥🏁

Our Nursery and Pre-Prep pupils have the chance to slow down and engage deeply with the natural world during Forest School.
Whether they’re searching for woodland creatures under logs, spotting tracks near the trees, or getting creative with mud painting, every activity encourages curiosity, independence, and resilience - there’s space to explore, listen, and reflect.
These outdoor sessions support early development in the best way, through play, movement, and imagination. They help build confidence within our children, communication skills, and a sense of calm that only nature seems to offer.
It’s early learning that’s grounded, quite literally, in the world around them. 🌳🪵🐌

Last month, Year 1 stepped back in time at the London Canal Museum, experiencing what life was like aboard a traditional narrowboat!
They learned about the history of London’s canals and how they shaped London’s past, climbed aboard the Wickham Diesel Tractor to see how goods were transported, and even took a trip on the water. A fascinating day of hands-on learning!

⭐️ Sixth Form Update ⭐️
In our last week of term, Hampstead Sixth hosted our Sixth Form Open Evening for internal and external students to learn more about our new community.
We were delighted to be joined by Professor George Alexandridis from Henley Business School. Mr Alexandridis holds many roles at Henley across both the Senior Management team and Executive Committee but spoke primarily in his capacity as Co-Director of Henley Careers and Professional Development. He is also an NBH parent himself!
His talk discussed the future of careers, university decision making, and the importance of exploration before university. He noted that according to recent studies, one-third of university students regret their choice of subject!
The ability to explore through co-curricular activities, community partnerships, and academic study while still in Senior School and Sixth Form is so vital to making decisions for the future. Our curriculum allows all students to explore their passions, and find new unique routes towards their future ambitions.
