NBH Prep Adds to Record of Outstanding Common Entrance Results

After the girls’ outstanding 11+ results last term, North Bridge House Prep’s Year 8 boys continue the School’s exam success and longstanding history of first class Common Entrance results.

Year after year, NBH Prep School successfully places boys and girls at some of London and the UK’s top Senior Schools – often with prestigious scholarship awards – highlighting our academic prestige within the competitive North London prep school environment.

Scholarship places

The 2017 boys’ 13+ results have seen a total of ten scholarships and prizes awarded for Academic, Sport and Music accolades, highlighting the diverse strengths of our pupils who receive ‘excellent preparation for the highly thought of senior schools that they move on to and a very rich rounded educational experience’ (School Inspection Service, December 2015).

The boys have gained places at a number of renowned boarding and day schools, including Aldenham School, City of London School for Boys, Haileybury, Merchant Taylor’s School, Mill Hill School, St Albans School, St Paul’s School, UCS and Westminster School. Some of them have chosen to continue their education with North Bridge House and look forward to joining one of our Senior School campuses in either Hampstead or Canonbury in September.

Comment from the Head

Head teacher, Mr Bibby is thrilled with the boys’ success:

“I am very proud of the Year 8 boys and would like to congratulate each and every one of them, along with their exceptionally hard-working teachers. Once again they have produced a fantastic set of results and can look forward to starting a range of great schools in September.”

He continues:

“Both our girls and boys have done exceptionally well this year. They have worked very hard over the last few months and we have been delighted with their calm and focused approach throughout the whole 11+ and Common Entrance process. Parents can now relax and children can enjoy the summer before embarking on the next exciting adventure.”
