Facilities & Location
Prime North London Location.
Situated at the edge of Regent’s Park and a stone’s throw from the Zoological Society of London, North Bridge House Prep School’s prime location facilitates regular sports fixtures and an exciting collaboration with London Zoo, boasting a wealth of outdoor learning opportunities.
Once a convent, the building’s striking historic features are juxtaposed with the latest technology and modern facilities, to create an inspiring learning environment fully equipped for specialist teaching in art, drama, music and science.
As well as our Royal Parks playground, children also benefit from the best in the local area for sport, frequenting Lord’s Cricket Ground, the Home of English cricket.
What’s more, our new and innovatively designed Early Years and Key Stage 1 facilities provide multifunctional internal and external teaching spaces, complete with the children’s very own rooftop science garden.
Children thrive on a rich and exciting curriculum from the beginning of their educational journey at the Prep School, taught by subject specialists as well as experienced class teachers. The Prep School curriculum is designed to stretch children further than in a typical junior school setting, redefining the teaching and learning of humanities to deliver Geography and History as discrete subjects, and harnessing research from cognitive science about how children learn and retain long-term knowledge.
From Year 5, we provide a breadth of learning experience that encompasses everything from Philosophy Politics and Economics to Critical Thinking, Mandarin and the Arts, and our broad-ranging curriculum is taught entirely by subject specialists.
