We run open events and smaller guided tours throughout the academic year and invite all prospective families to attend. Open events are a great opportunity to see the school in action, speak to our Senior Leadership and Admissions teams and hear from current pupils. Book now.
Submit an Application
Our application deadline for September 2021 entry is: Friday 27 November 2020.
Our application deadline for the academic year 2020 has now passed. However, occasional places may arise; please contact our Admissions Team at your earliest convenience on 020 7428 1520.
An application fee of £150 can be paid via bank transfer or cheque. A member of the Admissions Team will contact you within 48 hours of receiving your application to confirm completion.
Attend an Assessment Morning
Further to your application, we will invite your child(ren) in for a short assessment to determine their current academic level and to see how we can help them fulfil their potential.
Assessments for September entry are held in the preceding December.
Receive an Offer
Offers for 7+ (Year 3) entry are sent out before the end of the Autumn term and the deadline to accept will is Friday 7 February 2020.
If you are applying for a place in Year 4 or above, we will contact you after the assessment to discuss your application. Places are offered subject to availability; if we are unable to make an offer straight away, we may place your child on our waiting list.
International Admissions Process

Our admissions team will be able to discuss your requirements and answer any questions you may have, so you can be sure that North Bridge House is the right school for your child.
Once you are ready to submit your application, please ensure you provide the documents below.
Document submissions checklist:
- Completed application form with full contact details for student and parent/guardian.
- Your official transcripts from your previous school, both in the original language and translated into English.
- A copy of your passport. If a passport is not available at the time of application, only a conditional offer can be issued before a copy is received.
- A copy of the student’s current BRP card (if available at point of application).
A copy of any previous Tier 4 visa’s with relevant transcripts for that institution (if any).
- UK School reference for students transferring from a UK school (if any).
- Portfolio – art and design students may be asked to show a portfolio to support their application.

If you have been in touch with one of our schools’ agents in your home country then you can return your completed form to the agent.
Step 1 – Place availability check and application
We will check that there are places available on your chosen course. We will then invite you to apply for a possible place at one of our schools by completing our online application form here.
Step 2 – Entry requirements check
We will then ensure that you have the necessary English language and academic entry requirements for the course you wish to study.
This will be done by way of interview with the Head Teacher of the school to which you are applying. For entry at 7+ and above, a written English and mathematics test will need to be completed as part of the admissions process.
To qualify for the A-Level programme you will need to have:
- IELTS 5.0
- Possess good high school graduate grades
- Be repeating the A Level course
Students enrolled at our schools are accepted on the strict understanding that progress will be reviewed at key stages, including the end of the first term. The school reserves the right to require a longer, or change, of course in light of that review.
Step 3 – Offer and acceptance of a place
An offer of a place will be sent to you (and your agent if applicable) outlining the next steps.
Please note, for students that are non-UK/non-EU nationals, an additional deposit will be required to secure your place at the school.
If you have received a ‘conditional offer,’ this means you have a place on a course providing you meet certain conditions such as passing English language/academic tests and providing evidence of visa status. Once you have passed these criteria your offer will become ‘unconditional’.
Tier 4 Applicants
Step 1-3 – International Admissions Process
We require all applicants wishing to be sponsored on a Tier 4 visa to complete steps 1-3 of the admissions process as outlined above.
Step 4 – Conditional/Unconditional Offers
If applying for a Tier 4 visa, you will need to hold an unconditional offer to apply for a visa; however, you can confirm your place at the conditional offer stage. If you have confirmed your place but fail to pass the required criteria, we can refund your deposit or defer your place*.

Step 5 – Pay tuition fee instalment
Schools within the UK operate with three terms each academic year. To secure a place at the school, along with the deposit amount, you will be required to pay a full year’s fees in advance of applying for your visa.
Step 6 – Receiving a CAS number
Upon receiving the deposit and tuition fee amount, we will then be able to issue you with a CAS number which you will need when applying for your visa to study in the UK. Click here for advice on the visa process.
