WELCOME TO REGENT'S PARK PREPARATORY SCHOOL
North Bridge House Regent’s Park is becoming Alleyn’s Regent’s Park.
Find us at the edge of Regent’s Park – our very own London playground – where academic challenge meets a supportive school community. As we transition to Alleyn’s Regent’s Park, we remain committed to a knowledge-rich and purposeful curriculum, ensuring children aged 4-13 achieve top-tier academic outcomes. With a wealth of character-building experiences beyond the classroom and compassionate staff guiding every child’s individual journey, we continue to provide outstanding preparation for future success.
BESPOKE PREPARATION FOR FUTURE PATHWAYS
From a nurturing start to school life in The Nest, through an increasingly rigorous, specialist taught curriculum (incorporating everything from Mandarin to Politics, Philosophy and Economics), we thoroughly prepare pupils for the senior school best suited to their individual strengths and interests – expertly facilitating all 11+, 13+, or through school journeys.
MORE THAN JUST AN EDUCATION
With enriching co-curricular initiatives such as the ACE Programme and the Orchestra Project, close to 40 extra-curricular clubs, and an ISI (Independent Schools Inspectorate) commended programme of trips, we offer pupils a wholly inspiring experience, with constant opportunities to excel and find their own ‘True North’.
WE WOULD LOVE TO SHOW YOU AROUND
Join us at an Open Day to see the school in action, hear from the Head, and meet our brilliant staff and pupils. As we transition to Alleyn’s Regent’s Park, this is a great opportunity to learn more about our exciting next chapter. Private tours are available if you cannot attend an Open Morning or if you are looking for a mid-year or immediate vacancy.
We are here to personalise your tour experience.

We are proud to see Mrs Sarah Cartwright-Styles, our Nursery and Pre-Prep Head, featured recently in @thetimes.
The article explores Sarah’s dual role as a school leader and senior reservist, and how the values of discipline, teamwork and care for others shape her leadership both in uniform and in school. As Sarah reflects in the piece, “you can have two careers and you can hold them together”, a powerful reminder that purpose and service can take many forms.
These values are felt every day in school, enriching the way pupils are supported, guided and inspired, and modelling to them that leadership is rooted in commitment, resilience and integrity.
We are incredibly proud to have such a dedicated, values-led leader at the heart of our school community.

An unforgettable moment from the end of term! The My House Got Talent competition returned once again, inviting students across the school to take to the stage and share their talents through singing, drama, magic and more. Each performance reflected confidence, creativity and the joy of expressing individuality, making it a highlight many look forward to every year.
What truly sets this event apart is the sense of togetherness it brings. With our staff team also joining in with a performance, including one of our teachers singing Defying Gravity from Wicked. The evening became a shared celebration of talent, encouragement and school spirit, a reminder of how remarkable it is when the whole community comes together 👏💛

Our recent Winter Festival brought our school community together for a wonderful afternoon of celebration. The event featured an art exhibition showcasing the work created by our students, a festive concert featuring music and drama performances by our talented drama students, a winter market with seasonal treats, themed games in the sports hall, and a much-loved raffle and auction.
We are incredibly proud to share that a total of £4,525.56 was raised for the Royal Free Children’s Hospital School. This generous contribution will make a real difference to children and teens in Camden who are unable to access mainstream education, including those facing mental health challenges.
Thank you to everyone who attended, donated and supported the Winter Festival and concert - your generosity and community spirit truly made the event so special. 💙

Over the past five days, our Year 11 students have been skiing in Salzburger Sportwelt, Austria, one of the country’s most renowned ski regions. The area offers an impressive 350km of skiing across five interconnected valleys, providing a wide range of terrain for all abilities.
Set against excellent snow conditions and perfectly prepared pistes, students spent the week improving their skiing with the support of professional, fully qualified instructors - building confidence, refining their technique and thoroughly enjoying their time on the slopes.
Turns out the best classroom this week came with skis and a mountain view! 🇦🇹⛷️❄️

And the winning door is… ✨🎄
Our Nursery and Pre-Prep Christmas Door Competition was judged by our pupils, who had a very tough job with so many brilliant doors to choose from.
With a pupil from our youngest year group and one from our oldest pulling names from the hat, the decision sparked lots of discussion, and some very thoughtful opinions.
In the end, one door stood out to the pupils for its imagination, detail and teamwork.
Banyan’s Gingerbread House was chosen as the winning door, with the pupils keen to share the win with Year 2, who worked alongside Banyan to create the Gingerbread House on the third floor.
A wonderful example of collaboration across the school - a huge well done to everyone who took part, they made this a very festive decision to judge! 🎁🏆

Our whole school enjoyed Christmas Lunch on Friday, bringing plenty of festive spirit to Senior Hampstead.
A special thank you to Mr Jones and our senior prefects, who supported the occasion by serving meals and entertaining the Year 7 pupils - a thoughtful contribution that added to the joyful atmosphere. 🍽️🎄

What’s coding without learning to think one step ahead?
Yesterday, our Year 1 & 2 pupils took part in a hands-on workshop with Matt Lovegrove, Cognita’s Digital Learning Advisor, exploring coding through CodeMonkey, an award-winning platform that teaches children real coding languages like CoffeeScript and Python through playful, interactive games.
During this session, pupils used CodeMonkey Jr., a bright and engaging early-years version of the programme where they learn the basics of coding through simple block-based commands. Guiding a monkey through colourful levels, collecting bananas and unlocking treasure helped them practise sequencing, spatial reasoning and logical thinking in a fun, age-appropriate way. 💻🐒
At this age, coding introduces so much more than technology - it nurtures persistence, creativity and the confidence to try, test and try again. It was wonderful to see pupils helping one another, testing ideas and celebrating every step forward! 💡🌱

A brilliant day of swimming for our students!
Year 8 student George and Year 9 student Martin joined Year 11 Yasmin in representing London North at this year’s ISA National Swim Competition.
It was an exciting opportunity for our swimmers to compete at a national level, challenge themselves against other top competitors, and gain valuable race experience.
Events competed in:
🏊♂️ George - 200m Year 8 Boys Freestyle Team and 200m Medley Team
🏊♂️ Martin - Year 9/10 Boys Butterfly 50m and 200m Medley Team
🏊♀️ Yasmin - 200m Year 11/13 Girls’ Medley Team
