Scholarships

Scholarships for prospective pupils applying for Year 7 entry.

Worthy candidates will not only demonstrate excellence in their specific field, but will also sport a proactive attitude towards school life as a whole.

North Bridge House scholars are expected to act as ambassadors for the school both academically and recreationally, upholding exemplary behaviour and leading their peers in extra-curricular and enrichment activities.

Further to the standard admissions interview and assessment process for applicants to North Bridge House Senior Hampstead, those applying or recommended for scholarships will be invited in for an additional review.

Academic Scholarships

Students who excel in the initial entry assessment for North Bridge House Senior School (taken by all candidates) will be invited in to sit for either a Single or a Double Academic Scholarship, and will have additional assessments in Maths, English, or both, depending on the Scholarship invitation.

Computer Science Scholarships

Computer Science Scholarships may be awarded to passionate and talented students who demonstrate excellent computational thinking and programming skills.

Candidates will meet with the Head of Computer Science, be assessed on how they are going to solve a problem, and will have the chance to talk about their experiences in programming or related area in Computer Science.

Creative Arts Scholarships

Students who exhibit a high level of artistic skill and creativity may apply for a Creative Arts Scholarship.

They will meet with the Head of Art, and will be assessed on a portfolio of their work, with particular focus on their drawing skill, creative thought, use of a variety of media, and interest in contemporary and historical movements.

Music Scholarships

Music Scholarships may be awarded to talented and dedicated musicians and performers.

Candidates will be invited to spend a morning with the Music Department, playing with others and talking about any groups with which they are involved, special concerts or performances in which they have played, and their musical grade achievements.

Performing Arts Scholarships

Performing Arts Scholarships may be awarded to students who have an interest in and dedication to the theatre, acting, directing, performing or other roles.
