We believe in developing the 'whole' child.
We are continually exploring ways to give our pupils more than an academic education, focusing on cultivating character and promoting well-being through their everyday experiences. With everything from Forest School (in Pre-Reception and above), sport and LAMDA lessons taking place during the school day; to a whole host of after school clubs, day trips, concerts and school productions; our extra-curricular programme really builds on pupils’ spiritual, moral, social and cultural development.
To encourage children to grow as individuals outside of the curriculum and to develop new talents, there is an increasingly large choice of after school clubs available throughout the Nursery and Pre-Prep Schools. At the Nursery, pupils can choose from a wide range of activities that include music, drama, art, sports, technology, chess, and many more. At the Pre-Prep the possibilities extend to cookery, Italian and ukulele, to name but a few, whilst many of the Nursery clubs also remain available.
We strive to offer a diverse range of clubs each term to cater to different interests. The timetable varies each term to ensure that pupils have the opportunity to try out new hobbies and develop new skills. In addition, we also regularly introduce new activities based on the feedback and suggestions from our families. This allows us to keep the provision fresh and exciting, and ensure that pupils have access to the latest trends and developments in different areas.
“My child is very happy and thriving at the school. It has great before / after school clubs that are very convenient for working parents.”
