North Bridge House Nursery & Pre-Prep West Hampstead provides a sensitive transition and unique introduction to school life, immersing children in a rich and varied academic and extra-curricular programme from the outset of their education.
From ages 2 to 7, children benefit from a specialist Early Years and Key Stage 1 programme, tailored to their individual needs and expertly preparing them for Prep School.
Through our holistic approach to child development and nurturing environment, we focus on enhancing pupils’ spiritual, moral, social and cultural development to provide a fully rounded education.
It is through developing each child personally as well as academically, and fostering a genuine love of learning, that we set children on a clear journey, to find their True North.
We pride ourselves on really getting to know each individual child on their journey through Nursery and Pre-Prep, to Prep School and beyond. Through our personalised approach in a small school environment, we help each child to achieve their full potential from the start of their school career.
We develop the fundamental skills upon which pupils’ future successes are built, exceeding the Early Years and Key Stage 1 national averages for English and maths by over 20%. We prepare pupils for progression to NBH Prep School, and to many of the top senior schools in the country thereafter.
Happiness is the key to success in the formative years of education. From philosophy and dance to school pets and Forest School, we grow pupils’ confidence and self-awareness while providing a learning experience which extends far beyond the four walls of the classroom.
The daynurseries.co.uk Top 20 Nursery Awards 2022 highlight the most recommended day nurseries in each region of the UK. The awards are based on over 22,000 reviews received between 1st March 2014 to 1st March 2022 from parents, relatives and guardians of children who attend the nurseries.

We understand that the Early Years are fundamental to a child’s academic and personal development, and we are committed to guiding and supporting both parents and pupils through school life here at North Bridge House Nursery & Pre-Prep.
