WELCOME TO HAMPSTEAD NURSERY & PRE-PREP
At NBH Hampstead Nursery & Pre-Prep School (becoming Alleyn’s Hampstead in September 2026), children aged 2 to 7 are immersed in a wholly holistic education, delivered by a truly caring team of experienced staff and subject specialists, each dedicated to inspiring a curiosity for knowledge. In the heart of Hampstead and with our Nursery and Pre-Prep campuses just moments away from one another, we are a diverse yet tight-knit community with kindness at our core. KNOWING THE INDIVIDUAL
We pride ourselves on really getting to know each individual child on their journey through Nursery & Pre-Prep, tailoring our approach to make our already warm environment optimal for every learner. Whether your child joins us the day they turn 2-years-old, at age 3, or 4+, they will thrive in our culture of care, where teachers create meaningful relationships to support the growth of confidence and resilience, and utilise high staff to pupil ratios to help every child achieve their full potential.
FOSTERING EXCELLENCE
Our wide and enriching learning experience sees children explore the EYFS (Early Years Foundation Stage) and Key Stage 1 core curricula and so much more. Subject specialist teaching sparks wonder in everything from drama and storytelling, music, gym and dance, to French, Italian and Forest School, providing a broad platform for academic and creative excellence and plenty of opportunity for children to develop their own passions and interests ahead of Prep School.

Today was the last Summer Fête at the nursery and junior school as North Bridge House Hampstead 🎈
We marked it with Memory Lane - a fence full of class photos going all the way back twenty years, right alongside the balloon tunnel and fête games everyone knows and loves.
So many familiar faces. So many memories. Such a lovely way to say goodbye to this chapter.
From September, we become Alleyn’s Hampstead - same heart, same purpose, same commitment to helping every child find their true north and become all they can be.
Here’s to everything NBH has been, and everything Alleyn’s Hampstead is about to be. 💙🤍✨

Ready, set, go! 🏃♀️🏃♂️
We had an incredible Nursery Sports Morning today, filled with energy, laughter, and determination from our little athletes as they took part in a range of fun activities and races.
A huge well done to everyone 🌟🏅
Following an intense week of mock exams, we took some of our Year 12 students to sunny Barcelona to enjoy the cultural and culinary delights of Catalonia 🇪🇸
Highlights included a boat trip around Barcelona Port; a tour of the beautiful Sagrada Familia; soaking up the sunshine on Barceloneta Beach; learning to cook Paella; visiting Nou Camp; wandering the maze-like Gothic Quarter; and impromptu dancing at Park Güell.
Much fun was had as we smashed our daily step target (balanced with copious amounts of ice cream to cope with the heat) 🍦☀️
Now back to work to end the academic year strongly and get ready to step up to Year 13!

With a history dating back to the 1930s, NBH has encouraged children to develop creativity, curiosity, and confidence. To celebrate this remarkable journey, each class at our Nursery and Pre-Prep School painted a plant pot inspired by a different artistic era.
