Regular class outings take place within the school day to build on the broad curriculum and develop pupils’ curiosity for knowledge. With a whole host of internationally renowned museums, attractions and places of interest in the near vicinity, we reinforce classroom learning with learning in real life situations.
Workshops and LAMDA Lessons
Additional workshops, which range from African dance to thematic story-telling, and LAMDA (London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art) lessons take place during the school day to develop pupils’ self-awareness and spark creativity outside of formal lessons.

Music is a large part of the vibrant life at North Bridge House, and is celebrated both within and beyond the curriculum. Pupils enjoy regular music lessons from the start of their education, which continue from the Nursery School through to the Pre-Prep, where extra-curricular music tuition is available.

After School Clubs
To encourage children to grow as individuals outside of the curriculum and discover other talents and interests, there is an increasingly large choice of after school clubs available throughout the Nursery and Pre-Prep Schools. At the Nursery, pupils can choose from activities such as Yoga, Tap Dance, Drama, Art and Chess. At the Pre-Prep the possibilities extend to Cookery, Spanish and Ukele, to name but a few, whilst many of the Nursery clubs remain available for pupils to continue their favourite hobbies. All clubs ensure that each child not only receives an excellent all-round education, but also has the opportunity to pursue other areas of inspiration.

Wraparound and Holiday Childcare
As well as the wide range of after school clubs on offer at the Nursery and Pre-Prep Schools, we provide additional childcare for parents to use at their convenience.
Breakfast & T-Clubs
Breakfast Club takes place in the Nursery School every morning at 8am. Children are served fruit juice, cereal and toast, and are then escorted to their classrooms at 8.30am. At the end of the school day, T Club is the ideal childcare facility if you are running late or have a prior engagement. Parents can simply call on the day and children will be taken care of, given a snack and entertained until 5.30pm, Monday to Friday.
Run by our friendly and familiar teaching staff, North Bridge House Holiday Club is reliable childcare and a whole lot of fun for our Nursery and Pre-Prep children. Every school holiday and half term break, we provide an exciting range of activities – like art, music, cooking and games – based at the Nursery School.
