Our students secure university places at leading Russell Group destinations, including Oxford and Cambridge, Bristol, Cardiff, Durham, Edinburgh, Glasgow, King’s College London, Leeds, Liverpool, Queen Mary University of London, Sheffield, UCL and York.
Students also gain entry to renowned Arts and overseas institutions, such UAL: Camberwell College of Arts, Royal Academy of Music, Haverford College and Loyola Marymount University.
Sixth Form students at North Bridge House Senior Canonbury celebrated another year of outstanding A Level results, achieving an impressive 65% A*-A grades. 90% of the school’s grades were a B or above.
Top performing student Harry Story achieved 3 A*s in Geography, Government and Politics and History, securing a place to study Geography at the highly competitive Durham University.
Overall, the school achieved 100% A*-A grades across English Literature, Latin, Mandarin and Music, highlighting a real strength in our languages department. Furthermore, we secured 100% A* grades in Further Maths and Art, adding to our track record of both academic and creative success.
Many NBH Senior Canonbury students gained places to study at their first-choice universities, including top Russell Group and creative institutions such as University of Bristol, Durham University, King’s College London, University of Liverpool, University of Sheffield, University College London, University of York, and Royal Academy of Music.

North Bridge House Senior Canonbury students celebrated another year of outstanding GCSE results, with an overall 65% grades 7 or above (the equivalent of an ‘A’ or higher) – compared to 28.9% nationally – and 15% at grade 9.
The school saw notable success in the languages department: 100% of students achieved grade 7 or above in all of Italian, Latin and Mandarin. A further 25% of students secured the top grade 9 in Spanish.
The school’s impressive number of high grades continued across science and the arts, with 84% and 89% of students achieving grades 7-9 in Biology and Physics respectively, 41% securing grade 9 in Art and 100% celebrating grade 8 (the previous A* equivalent) in Photography. Overall, North Bridge House Senior Canonbury saw 38% of all grades awarded at 8+ and almost a third of all students achieve straight grade 7s and above.
Top performing student Evie Claisse particularly excelled, achieving seven grade 9s and two 8s, securing the top grade in the three sciences, English (Lit. and Lang.) and Maths.

Sixth Form students at North Bridge House Senior Canonbury celebrated their highest A Level results to date, having achieved an outstanding 68% A*- A grades despite this year’s challenging lockdown circumstances.
With a huge 40% A* grades overall and half of all students scoring straight As or higher, the school outperformed the national average of 9% A* grades.
Overall, NBH Senior Canonbury achieved a clean sweep of 100% A*-A grades across Chemistry and Maths and 100% A* grades in Further Maths and Art, highlighting the school’s strength in both academic and creative fields.
Many NBH Senior Canonbury students (including those from last year’s cohort who opted to take a gap year) secured places at their first-choice universities, including top Russell Group destinations such as Cambridge, Oxford, Cardiff, Leeds and Queen Mary University of London.

North Bridge House Senior Canonbury students achieved highly impressive GCSE results despite the challenge of lockdown, with an overall 66% achieving Grade 7 or above (the equivalent of an ‘A’ or higher) and 24% making the top Grade 9.
The school upheld its high performance across a broad range of academic and creative subjects for another year running, with 86% and 100% of students achieving Grades 7-9 in Physics and Art respectively.
North Bridge House Senior Canonbury’s impressive number of high grades continued across science and the humanities, with 36% Grade 9 in both Biology and History and 29% in Geography.
Overall, 47% of all grades awarded were 8+ – the previous A* equivalent – which is particularly high for an academically non-selective school.
