Consistently impressive grades
Since NBH Canonbury Senior School and Sixth Form opened in September 2014, we have built a strong reputation for academic excellence, consistently guiding students to top university destinations.
Our Sixth Formers regularly achieve outstanding A-Level results, earning places at prestigious Russell Group universities including Oxford, Cambridge, Bristol, Cardiff, Durham, Edinburgh, Exeter, Glasgow, King’s College London, Leeds, Liverpool, Queen Mary University of London, Sheffield, Southampton, UCL, Warwick, and York.
We are equally proud of students who pursue more specialist or creative pathways, progressing to institutions such as the London School of Economics (LSE), the Royal Academy of Music, and University of the Arts London (UAL) colleges such as Camberwell. Some also continue their studies at international universities, including Haverford College in the United States.
A Level results 2025
Sixth Form students at NBH Canonbury are celebrating another year of impressive A-Level success, with 64% of all grades awarded at A*-B across 15 students and 45 exam entries.
There were exceptional subject performances, including 100% of students achieving A*-A grades in Italian and 100% A*-B grades in Art, Classical Civilisation, English, Further Maths, Geography and History.
The Class of 2025 has secured places at a wide range of competitive universities in the UK and overseas, including Oxford Russell Group institutions and specialist courses, reflecting the school’s commitment to academic and creative excellence. Degree subjects include Architecture, Chemistry, Classical Civilisation, Global Politics, History, International Relations, Maths and Economics, Physiotherapy, Politics with International Relations, and Sports Business Management.
University destinations include: Newcastle, Durham, Leeds, York, Nottingham, Queen Mary University of London, Brunel, Birkbeck, Leeds Beckett, and the University of Minnesota.

A Level results 2024
Sixth Form students at NBH Canonbury Senior School celebrated outstanding A Level results, with 40% A*-A grades and remarkable success in languages and STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, the Arts and Mathematics) related subjects.
100% of students achieved A*-A grades in Drama, Further Maths, Italian, and Physics, whilst 100% secured A*-B grades in Art, Chemistry, Politics and Spanish.
Students also performed incredibly well in Computer Science and Maths, achieving 67% and 63% A*-A grades respectively.
Top performer Savva achieved A*A*A in Maths, Further Maths and Computer Science, and secured entry to the University of Warwick to pursue his talent in Computer Science – a popular degree course for 2024 with fellow high achiever, Rafi (A*AA), going to study the same.
The Class of 2024 secured places on a range of highly competitive Russell Group university courses, with major successes including Rin’s (A*A*AB) place to read Economics at the University of Oxford and Evie’s place to study Biochemistry at King's College London. Other degree programmes included Architecture, Drama, History and Politics, Italian, Law, Mechanical Engineering and Psychology.
